Review on Heaven, How I Got Here by Colin S. Smith

Standard

This is an interesting read written from the perspective of the thief who was hanged next to Jesus, how he tried to live a good Jewish life and failed, how he hated Jesus to the core and then felt remorseful and changed when he saw how Jesus treated His enemies and death. Something changed in him that brought him to say, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom”. It’s a fresh read and makes the gospel much more relevant to us as we reflect with the thief, how our lives turned out, and how the person, the death and resurrection of Jesus will revolutionize our lives if we were right next to him as these events infolded in the gospels.
