Review on Good and Angry by David Powlison

“…In your anger, do not sin: do not let the sun go down while you are still angry…”

Are you troubled over your anger and wondering if you can still be a good and faithful follower of Christ?

You could do well to read the book Good and Angry by David Powlison.

I like how the author gives us guidelines on how to read/use this book, making the learning interactive and hence applicable and impact-inducing. Guiding questions are asked at end of each chapter to help you reflect after reading about others’ journeys and how the author digests/understands the situation. The language is personable and easy to relate to, perhaps just one suggestion, this book could reach an even higher potential if it has more bible content within. Perhaps in future releases or versions, the author could try adding this in. However, this could be not the author’s intention in the first place, and the book serves well as a view into the author, a fellow believer’s journey in handling anger in relation to his relationship with our Creator God. Read it like a journal and it will do you great solace, inspiration and help.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from Cross Focus Reviews in exchange for my honest review.
